Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about finding, importing, editing, saving, exporting, and troubleshooting VN video templates.

Official templates are available in the [Discover] template library. A VN Code will attempt to download and opens a template shared by another creator. A .vnt file is a VN template file that can be opened directly in VN. Both VN Code and VN template file and may include creator-defined restrictions.

It depends. In the filled template editor, you can replace media, apply filters, crop clips, and adjust volume. Full timeline editing, including changes to clip order, transitions, text, stickers, and other structure, is available only when the template creator enables [Allow to Edit].

Template creators can choose which elements users are allowed to edit. If you can't change a specific element, the creator most likely did not make it editable.

The template creator controls whether users can change the aspect ratio using the [Allow to Change Frame] setting. When it is disabled, the template keeps its original aspect ratio and users can't change the aspect ratio.

The source media may have a different shape from the template frame or media slot. Use [Crop] to reposition the important area. The result can also depend on whether the creator allows footage to keep its original dimensions or requires it to match the template size.

The template creator can decide whether audio from the user's footage is retained. If [Keep User's Footage Audio] is disabled, VN uses the template audio settings instead of keeping the original clip sound.

Some templates reuse the same source media in multiple slots. When VN shows this prompt, choosing to apply the photo to the other matching clips replaces all linked uses of that media at once.

[Save] stores the filled template as an editable project in the Projects area on the home screen. [Export] renders the finished video and saves the exported result to your device album.

Make sure the complete QR code is clear, check your internet connection, and scan it again from the [Scan] tool. If the template opens a cloud download link, the file owner must allow access through that link. If you encounter issue with template that's about password, expiration, or editing restriction, contact the template creator.
