When to Use From Short Video
Use [BeatsClips] > [From Short Video] when you already have a reference video whose pacing you want the template to follow. This method is useful for recreating the timing of short-form edits, photo sequences, transition videos, and other clips in which media changes occur at specific moments.
You select and trim the reference video, then add beat points at the cuts or rhythm changes you want to preserve. Each beat point becomes a replacement position that other users can fill with their own photos or videos.

Use [From Music] instead when you want to start from a music track and have VN generate beat points from its rhythm. Create and Share a BeatsClips Template From Music
Create BeatsClips From a Short Video
1. Open [Your Projects] and tap the [+] button.
2. Select [BeatsClips], then tap [From Short Video].
3. Select the short video you want to use as the timing reference.
4. Drag the trim handles to choose the section you want to turn into a template. Preview the selected section, then tap the checkmark to continue.
5. Play through the video and add beat points at the moments where the media should change. Place the markers on visible cuts, transitions, or rhythm changes so the finished template follows the reference video's pacing. After that, review the timeline and preview the complete sequence. When the timing is ready, tap [Create].
6. On the BeatsClips preview screen, confirm the duration and number of footage slots, then tap [Publish].
Publish the BeatsClips Template
Templates created with [From Short Video] are published using a downloadable template file.
1. In the [Publish Template] page, do the following: - Enter a clear title and description. - Add a cover and relevant tags. - Tap [Save the file] and save the generated template file to your device or directly upload the file to a third-party cloud service, such as Google Drive or Dropbox. Configure the file so that anyone with the link can access or download it.
2. Copy the accessible download link and paste it into the [Download link] field. After that, review the information, then tap [Publish]. Keep VN open until the upload finishes.
Note
Only publish videos, music, and other content that you have permission to use. Keep the uploaded cloud file available after publishing so users can continue downloading the complete template.
Find and Share BeatsClips
After creating or publishing the template:
1. Open [Your Projects] and select the [BeatsClips] tab. The template appears there after it finishes uploading.
2. Open the template and tap the share button.
3. Choose one of the available sharing methods: - [VN Code]: Generate a scannable code that another VN user can scan in the VN app to open the template. - [Share VNFlow File]: Export and send the template file directly through another app or storage service.
